Meet Jake
Jake spent nine years in the grain industry before turning his passion for helping people and his love of home improvement projects into HomeGrown Handyman LLC. His hands-on experience began much earlier — when his parents started flipping houses in his eighth-grade year — and more than 15 years of working on homes shaped the practical approach he brings to every Honey-Do List.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of projects do you take on?
General handyman work: home repairs, drywall patching, painting and touch-ups, finish carpentry and trim, door and window fixes, TV mounting, shelving, furniture assembly, small flooring repairs, deck and fence repairs, caulking, and punch-list style property maintenance across the Omaha area.
How do estimates work?
Share a short description of the project and a few photos through the quote form. We'll follow up to confirm scope, discuss timing, and outline a clear plan before any work begins.
Can I submit photos of my project?
Yes, and it's encouraged. Photos help us plan the right visit, bring the right materials, and give you a straightforward answer sooner.
Where do you work?
Omaha, Papillion, Bellevue, Ralston, La Vista, and nearby communities in the Omaha metro. If you're just outside those areas, ask and we'll let you know.
Do you take on small repair projects?
Yes. Small repairs are a core part of what we do. Bundling multiple small tasks into one scheduled visit is usually the most efficient approach.
Do you supply the materials?
For common items and standard hardware, we can pick up materials on your behalf. For specific finishes, fixtures, or paint colors, we'll usually ask you to choose or supply them so the final result matches your intent.
How does scheduling work?
Scheduling depends on the season and current backlog. Once we've reviewed your project, we'll confirm a realistic window and keep you updated as we get closer.
How do I request a quote?
Scroll to the quote form near the bottom of this page or visit the Contact page. Include a project description, photos if you have them, and your preferred contact method, and we'll follow up. You can also give us a phone call at 402-799-4769 if you would rather speak with someone directly.
